Hard waxes are used for very short hair from 1 mm or on sensitive parts of the body such as the face, armpits or genital area. Before waxing, the skin is cleaned. A pre-treatment oil (apricot kernel oil) is then applied to soothe the skin and prevent the wax from sticking to the skin. The hard wax is applied to the protective film created by the pre-treatment oil with a wooden spatula at a comfortable temperature and the hair is removed.
To care for and dehydrate the skin after hair removal, there is a follow-up treatment with a high-quality lotion or oil.
